With a strong family upbringing and having the blessing of being able to participate in so many activities and groups in church and school growing up, including earning the Eagle Scout rank God and Country Award with the Boy Scouts of America in 1976, established an early standard and code of conduct that continues to guide me today. With a passion for delivering exceptional results and with a commitment to continuous growth, I look forward to leveraging my expertise to add value and make a meaningful impact for every client I'm honored to serve.
My early career journey was healthcare focused, where I was employed at medical centers in both North and South Carolina. I also worked for multiple worldwide medical device manufacturers traveling to different hospitals, clinics, and research facilities throughout much of the US as a field service and sales account manager. All these roles combined to equip me with a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic cardiology, laboratory, and imaging systems, as well as the overall care pathways and components within our healthcare industry. Adding to those medical industry years, my career journey then moved me closer to where I am today with multiple roles in the mortgage industry and in sales with a national homebuilder.
Today, I’m honored to serve as the Director of Bedrock Planning Group, working with clients for their life insurance, annuities, Medicare planning, and real estate services.
Along with my wife Laura, we're the proud parents of two adult children. Together, we're continuing to learn how to live in the "empty nest" and as part of that, we've begun taking shag dance lessons. We're having a blast, but as for me, I'm liable to be stuck in the beginner stage of that endeavor. My own special interests include music, both listening and making from time to time as I'm a clarinet player from my school days and enjoy trying to get better with the guitar. Outdoor activities are a joy, yes, even mowing the grass, but I especially enjoy fishing, golf, tennis, and pickleball.
